Our Story
Aikyam is the embodiment of a personal transformation. Starting from an initial hesitance to embrace my South Asian heritage, a pivotal moment sparked self-acceptance and a profound shift. Inspired by my journey, I founded Aikyam to celebrate the unique life journeys of prominent South Asian figures, with the aim of inspiring unity, embracing diversity, and lastly making sure others are able to embrace their heritage. My own grandmother's words, "Be courageous; everything will be fine," continue to be my guiding light in this endeavor, as we work to create a more inclusive and supportive world.

It's in the process of educating others about our diverse cultures and experiences that we find our own sense of belonging and purpose.
